The only drive-in Los Angeles has to offer, the SAT has teamed up with the tech know-how of Hollywood MobMov to give you a spook every Friday through Halloween. It's simple: You park and tune in to a small-range radio signal, and you're all set! All screenings begin at 9 p.m. in our parking lot. Screenings also will occur in the theater in case of overflow crowds. Lot opens at 8:30.

Friday, Aug. 29. 9 p.m. Opening night - the unrated version of from beyond. A Q&A with director Stuart Gordon follows the film. Scientists learn to tap into a higher and sinister dimension. A sexual gorefest, based on an H.P. Lovecraft short story. $5
Friday, Sept. 5, 9 p.m. Demon Seed. A woman is terrorized by her husband's invention, a computer with its own will to live and desire to procreate. Directed by cult favorite Donald Cammell (Performance). $5.
Friday, Sept. 12, 9 p.m. God Told Me To. Led by a mysterious cult leader, random New Yorkers go on killing sprees, claiming to follow the orders of God. (It's also Andy Kaufman's first film role). $5
Friday, Sept. 19, 9 p.m. Wait Until Dark. Classic thriller starring Audrey Hepburn as a blind woman terrorized by thugs. A young Alan Arkin steals the film as the sinister Roat. $5.
Friday, Sept. 26, 9 p.m. The Village of the Damned (1960). Mysterious children from mysterious pregnancies have the power to conquer your will, and possibly the world. $5
Friday, Oct. 3, 9 p.m. Black Sabbath. Mario Bava's classic that goes beyond the boundaries of the supernatural to the half-world of the living dead. The ultimate anthology film, starring Boris Karloff. $5.
Friday, Oct. 10, 9 p.m. Altered States. Ken Russell's Oscar-nominated film about a scientist who begins to experience disturbing physical changes after experimenting with mind-altering drugs and unusual experiments. $5
Friday, Oct. 17, 9 p.m. The Devil Rides Out. Satanists target a duke's niece for sacrifice, not realizing the duke (Christopher Lee) might be more powerful than their master. $5.
Friday, Oct. 24, 9 p.m. Suspiria. The tale of a newcomer to a ballet academy that hides an evil secret. It's Dario Argento's best film, the quintessential Italian horror flick. $5
Friday, Oct. 31, 9 p.m. Our drive-in series closes on Halloween with Blood Sucking Freaks, the exploitation classic about a sadistic director who tortures women onstage. Extreme violence, low-budget camp, and a midget with a chainsaw. $5
