LAST Of The Knotts, a 1 man comi-tragedy, is the story of poet-hipster, Doug Knott's irreverent and comic battle with becoming a father... or Knott! After putting up with a lifetime's worth of pain from ...his own redneck Judge… Show more of a Dad, Doug promises himself and his old man to be "the last of the Knotts" until... he falls in love with a beautiful woman with a Snake... and "one of his sperm clings to a lifeboat inside her". The show is also pregnant with laughs, squirms, and the comic and painful truth of life!

Doug Knott is a well-known La poet, who at 67 years young, is doing his 1st solo performance show. Doug has produced and emceed his own hit cult variety show, had his own nightclub on Fairfax, his own cable poetry show, and toured the country as part of the infamous poet-performance group, Carma Bums.
Prof Eric Trules, long of USC's School of Theatre, is an Allen Ginsberg Poetry Award winner and a Fulbright Senior Specialist in American Studies (2008-13). He has twice brought his own 1 man shows to the Edinburgh Fringe Fest, and all 3 of the solo shows he developed for the 2011 Hollywood Fringe Festival were named "Best Of The Fest."
