From the moment the lights dim, Westsides Nutcracker transports you magical world filled with peppermint candy and dancing snowflakes. Its the traditional, full-length ballet, set to Tchaikovsky's majestic score, with exuberant choreography and lavish costumes.
As featured in the LA times, artistic direction closely follows George Balanchines original version. This years Nutcracker features guest artists Joy Womack (Bolshoi Ballet) and Erin Rivera-Brennand as the glittering Sugar Plum Fairy.
