Celebrate the opening of 2 new parklets on Spring Street during the DTLA Art Walk (4-5pm) with a reception following the event at The Falls. Councilmembers Huizar and Perry, the City of Los Angeles Departments of Transportation and City Planning, UCLA, AHBE, HDLABID, & many volunteers contributed to this project. The urban parks, which occupy the length of 2 metered parking spaces, create more space for sidewalk amenities while encouraging a more vibrant street life. See event page for details.
