Ann Magnuson

Ann Magnuson was raised in West Virginia but left her roots behind when she moved to New York in the '70s and became a downtown scenester and multi-talent. She has worked as a performance artist, a writer for national magazines, a singer and lyricist in the cult rock group Bongwater, and as an actor (mostly comedic) on the stage and screen. A regular guest on television sitcoms, a series of her own, Anything but Love, coincided with her work in film.
