Born on December 29, 1959, in Ario de Rosales, Michoacan, Marco formed his first group at the tender age of 12. He attended the American School of Durango and then joined University of Juarez for pursuing classical music. He formed the group, ‘Los Bukis' in the early 1970s. His association with Los Bukis produced some outstanding work, which made Marco a household name in Mexico. However, Marco's career as a solo artist brought him phenomenal success and popularity all over the world. His albums like ‘Quiereme,' ‘Inalcanzable,' and ‘Por Amor A Mi Pueblo' were platinum certified. ‘Trozos de Mi Alma' was out in 1999 and proved to be a thundering success. Just at the beginning of the new millennium, Marco released ‘En Vivo' and ‘En Vivo Vol.2' which received stupendous response and brought him rave reviews. ‘Mas de Mi Alma' followed next which was also a big success. The success of all his subsequent albums like ‘Tu Amor O Tu Desprecio,' ‘Razon De Sobra,' ‘Marco Antonio Solis,' and ‘Trozos De Mi Alma' has proved that fans' enthusiasm and love for his music are increasing day by day.
