"Its a small theater next to the majestic art-deco splendor of the Warner Grand Theater, in San Pedro. The building has been retrofitted to fit a small stage and the staff is friendly.
I attended three events this season, including Japanese drumming, Oude music and Janet Klein's resurrection of the teens and 20's.
The Oude music was very enjoyable and Janet Klein was a breath of fresh air in a world of modern materialism and uber-hyped fluff.
The musical acts are as eclectic as San Pedro itself, and within walking distance are some of the best restaurants I have been to in awhile, without the Westside scene, and Westside prices. Now I know why they call San Pedro "Silver Lake by-the-sea", and the Grand Annex is certainly the catalyst for this local arts uprising!!"- Ryan Blaney, San Pedro
