The 6th Annual Sri Lanka Day Expo is the biggest Sri Lankan event held in the United States. It includes a Sri Lankan Curry Festival, featuring exotic delicacies and non-stop entertainment by traditional Sri Lankan dancers, drummers and performers, as well as Sri Lankan American musicians. At 4pm the Sri Lanka Day Parade will stroll down the Promenade paying homage to the annual “Esala Perahera” held in the city of Kandy in Sri Lanka, which honors a sacred tooth relic belonging to Buddha.
