Dr. Connie Vadheim (CSU Dominguez Hills) will discuss the role of flower flies and other beneficial insects as par tof the gardening series “Out of the Wilds and Into Your Garden”. Flies have gotten a bad reputation, but they play a key role in gardens. Learn about native plants to attract these important beneficial insects to your garden. Classes include a walk in the Madrona Native Plant Gardens, where students can see the featured plants. Series features native plants for South Bay.
