Amazing

I was also there the day of the seizure during flight. I remember the whole thing. They handled it very well. You must of been the young man who did not want to give them room when there already was 4 nurses helping him. All he did was ask you to go back to your seat and if they did require a 5th person they would call you. But we did enjoy the rest of the film and will definitely go back.

I will never go back here AGAIN!!!!

I was there in the begining of this month hoping to enjoy a good movie, when another guest had an epelectic seizure. I am an MT, very well conversed in the medical field and have dealt with these situations in the hospitals where I work. By the time i could see what was going on, I got up and offered my services to help the young man on the floor, THe manager by the name of Orlando, got into my face in a position that he was going to attack me if i did not move. I kept trying to move in an offer cold towels to the man suffering heavily on the floor. But again this Orlando, started to scream at me i better move or else. I told him i was not going to move, and he made a hand motion that he was going to hit me. I never beleived anyone in this customer service position would be so rude and now allow me assist since I was well qualified to do so. In the end all i got was a free pass, to return to this theater, and an ugly snarl from Orlando, that he won with his physical attitude. Never again will i go back here and hope never to see this man again.

AMC Del Amo

I have to say at the start that I will never go back to the AMC Del Amo 18 Theater in Torrance California. Several of us went to see the showing of The Birds and I was so excited to go. We sat in that theater till 7:30 and not one person who worked there came in to talk to us. The movie was supposed to start at 7:00. People had to leave the theater to ask what was going on. Finally a young girl with long dark hair came in and told us they were having problems. No apology, just a rude attitude. We had been sitting there for a half hour and that is what we get!!! The movie finally started about 8:00 and then there was no sound. It finally came on and then the Hitchcock trivia questions played 3 or 4 times and then froze. Again no one checked on us at all. The movie finally started and the only reason I stayed is because I had waited so long to see one of my favorite movies on the big screen. When we left there was no one in the lobby to say anything to us. All I wanted was an apology or some sort of acknowledgement. It may have not been the theaters fault, but they made it worse by ignoring us. The only reason I may come back to an AMC theater is because of your Rolling Hills Theater. I had gone there a week ago to see a midnight showing of Resident Evil and they were all nice and helpful. That is hard at midnight!!! Maybe they should train the people at Del Amo!!!

No Control over Patrons

I can't remember the last time I walked out of a theater in the middle of the movie. I did so last night at the Del Amo AMC out of sheer disgust. My girlfriend and I were trying to watch "Paranormal" but the experience was anything but scary. It's hard enough to get into a horror film with a theater full of people. It's nigh impossible when most of the other patrons are obnoxiously loud, and have no respect for their fellow viewers. I won't condemn the management, as there's only so much they can do, but I think the theater as an institution should definitely rewrite their policies on dealing with unruly patrons. I mean how much would you enjoy watching any film, if all you could hear were the conversations of other people, with intermittent shushing by other annoyed viewers? It's a great theater, with a nice location. It's a shame I'll never be going back there.

BEWARE!!!!

BEWARE!!!!!! My husband and I went to see '500 Days of Summer' last night at the 8pm showing at Del Amo. First of all- getting into the theatre was an adventure in itself! over 100 teenagers stood around the escalator and blocking the entrance. Four security guards stood around but no one was asked to step aside or even move on.

We finally got into the theatre to watch our movie and 2 teenagers sat next to me-one seat away and proceeded to make out and fool around the entire movie. Not only did they TALK the entire time but constantly moved around. After the 3rd time of looking over in their direction the young lady had this boys "private part" out and was doing obscene things!

I informed management and they offered to refund my ticket. I dont want another ticket to a theatre that lets teenagers literally TAKE
OVER. believe me, Im not a teen hater- I work with this age group and love them but this is ridicules!

AMC DEL AMO- Do something about this problem or you will very soon have a problem keeping your doors open because no one will want to go to your theatre.

Dark Knight Nightmare

I was incredibly disappointed by the management at the AMC Del Amo Mall and will never return to the establishment. I went to see the Dark Knight at the AMC Del Amo Mall yesterday at midnight (7/18/08 at 12am) with friends.

A young lady and her neice who was in line with me about an hour before the show sat in the row in front of me and laid their jackets over 3 seats to reserve the spots.

The lady went to get her friend and left her niece, who I later heard was 14, to keep the seats. Within a minute, 2 men and a woman (older teenagers maybe) came up to the young girl and ordered her to move. She said no and they began using profanities, picked up the jackets and threw them in the young girls face, the girl obviously scared got up from the seat. Just as she started to walk away her aunt and the aunt's friend were walking up. They asked the teens why they cursed and threw the jackets at a child. The teens said there was no reserving seats and continued their horrible behavior.

What truly shocked me was the fact that the lady found 2 different managers to come over and talk to the teens, for a second, but they did nothing. I heard him tell the lady that he did not want to disturb the teens movie experience and offered her seats that were spread between 2 theatres. The teens were now being rewarded for acting like delinquents. Even though I said I saw what happened the manager (I think was possibly on drugs) said it was her word against the teens and looked annoyed that she was even complaining.

I would have walked out right then but the people I came with really wanted to see the movie.

Why did management allow teens to assault a child and do nothing?

When I say what management did was horrible I mean it. I would have walked out right then but the people I came with really wanted to see the movie. The worst manager's names was Jesse, a very abrassive man who may have been able to help the situation if he was sober.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS THEATRE!!!!!

GO TO ROLLING HILLS AMC ITS DOWN THE STREET AND SAFER IF YOU CAN BELIEVE THAT!!!!!
