Blt Steak La

The food was outstanding from the bread popovers to start us out - to the appetizers - to entrees (steak obviously) - to the dessert. The gnocci side item was to die for, the lightest gnocci I have ever had and still think about it.
The service was unfortunately so disappointing. The server stopped to check on us once after we got our meal - well after we were done. Asked how everything was and then was gone by the time we could even answer. We had to pour our own wine. Had to flag him down to get a dessert menu - to order our meals - to get our check - anything. Definitely not what we expected from a new high end steak restaurant. I am a good tipper and will always give the benefit of the doubt - but even this I could not justify.
I recommend this for the food but just expect mediocre (at best) service.
