20 7-Eleven stores will hold events throughout May featuring a traveling van, which allows fans to play the new Guitar Hero Aerosmith game live on 12 x 6-foot video screens.
What: This May, 7-Eleven, Inc. has partnered with Coca-Cola, Activision, Inc. and Microsoft Corp to give Guitar Hero fans in the greater Los Angeles area a larger-than-life experience of the beloved game that has become a worldwide sensation. Twenty 7-Eleven stores will hold events throughout May featuring a traveling media van, which allows fans a sneak peek experience to play Guitar Hero:Aerosmith live on 12 x 6-foot-tall video screens and six theater-quality speakers. Memorial Day weekend events will include giveaways such as one XBOX 360 console and 10 Guitar Hero III videogames. Additionally, other Guitar Hero prizes, along with free Slurpees and hot dogs will be given away in the days leading up to Memorial Day weekend. Events are free and open to the public.
Why: To introduce 7-Eleven’s new Full Throttle Frozen Blast Slurpee® and offer Guitar Hero fans a chance to show off their skills and challenge their friends on a gigantic screen with six theater-quality speakers!
